Edward W. Foster, Vice President

A 30-year company veteran, Ed joined Mundy in 1978 as an industrial engineer where he completed numerous assignments in plants and operating facilities of Mundy customers. Since 1981 when he was promoted to vice president, Ed has been responsible for half of the company’s work execution groups and is a senior member of the management team.

In 2001, Ed was among the first to pass the inaugural Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional examination given by the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals Certifying Organization (SMRPCO), an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to instilling excellence in maintenance and reliability in all types of manufacturing and service operations worldwide.

Ed was instrumental in chapter formation for the group and is the current program chair and director of the annual Maintenance and Reliability Symposium developed by the Houston chapter.

Additionally, Ed holds the company’s contractor’s license in seven states and leads the company’s business development efforts.

Ed holds a B.S. Industrial Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He currently serves as an advisor to the Texas State Technical College’s Industrial Maintenance Engineering curriculum and is a member of ISPE, the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.
